July was a month of fun! Thank you to resident Dick for gifting some of his beautiful photography so we could hang it in the Activity Room. Each resident also got to choose one for themselves! Thank you also to hairdresser Deb and her granddaughter for blowing bubbles with folks on the patio. There were a variety of musical performances and opportunities to get creative. Folks made Freedom Pops to celebrate the Fourth of July, painted some beautiful outdoor decorations for our garden beds, and created some lovely floral centerpieces for our Summer Family Party. We were so happy to welcome families back for the event! The Meadows was pleased to help sponsor a presentation by Avian Connections as part of the Summer Reading Program at the Spring Green Library. It was fascinating to see a Turkey Vulture and Northern Saw-whet Owl up close. The month ended with a picnic at the Community Gardens with volunteer RoseEllen.
