November started out with an Everly Brothers tribute concert, which was a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Folks also enjoyed bowling and a bus ride to check out the new Lone Rock bridge. To commemorate Veterans Day, students from St. John the Evangelist School sang patriotic songs and each resident veteran received a certificate and corsage for their selfless service. The ladies did a marvelous job tying quilts with Project Linus volunteers and making ornaments for the Christmas tree at the Lone Rock Community Building. As Thanksgiving drew near, folks remembered all their blessings, including precious visits from family members. A big thank you to the resident’s daughter who arranged a visit from Boss Cow Coffee and purchased coffee for all the staff members. Your kindness is so appreciated!
