May started out with folks paying a visit to Greenway Manor in Spring Green to deliver May Day Baskets. It’s always nice to catch up with old friends. Staff member Mary’s grandson and Krysta’s daughter came to say hello, and the students from St. John the Evangelist School sang songs one last time before school was out. Some of the ladies felt the wind in their hair riding on a pedicab from Eugene’s Bike Services, and the bus traveled to Oakwood Fruit Farm for the apple blossoms and to Culver’s after a countryside drive. The Green Thumb Club planted flowers in the courtyard, and a kangaroo, alpaca, bunny and baby pigs from Tiny Acres Farm in Muscoda brought lots of smiles. On a sad note, everyone was sorry to say goodbye to faithful four-legged friend Ginger and her human, Richard. Ginger is retiring from pet therapy visits, and we thank them for all the love they brought over the years. To view photos, please click on the web album link below.
