Residents had a wonderful November, participating in a variety of activities. Jan Bruski, daughter of a previous resident, gave an interesting presentation on Laura Ingalls Wilder and her family. The seniors also had a great time touring the new Driftless Historium Museum in Mount Horeb, viewing historic artifacts and antiques. Fourth and fifth grade students from St. John’s Catholic School worked on a ‘gratefulness’ project together with our folks for Thanksgiving. To commemorate Veterans Day, Meadows hosted veterans from the Arena VFW and the Spring Green American Legion for a program and lunch. Steve Argo from the Tuscania Project in Baraboo was one of the speakers. Lastly, to get into the Christmas spirit, the seniors decorated the Meadows bus and were the third float in the Spring Green Christmas parade. What fun!
