There were some fun and unique activities in November, starting with folks exploring the food and culture of Poland. They tried Pierniczki cookies and Golumpki and did polka exercises! They enjoyed great music and interesting presentations - local pastor Jackie talked about Thanksgiving and shared pictures of beautiful artwork, and resident Evelyn’s daughter Stephanie brought in lovely clothes her mother made for her when she was a child. Students from St. John the Evangelist School paid us another visit, bringing art supplies so everyone could make snowmen together! Folks visited the Driftless Historium in Mount Horeb and the Project Linus Quilter Group came and helped the ladies finish quilts they’ve been working on. A big thank you to Kathy Butler from River Valley Stitchers for making lap blankets for all the ladies! To view photos, please click on the web album link below.
