Seniors dancing and listening to music at Holiday Party.

A new year is underway and January started off with our rescheduled Holiday Party! The ladies had their nails done and danced to some great Elvis tunes, and everyone showed their Packer spirit for the playoffs. A big thank you to a resident's family who gave a generous memorial in apprecation to staff. The gift enabled each person to receive a Stanley tumbler, and they were so excited! Resident Martha was born in Sweden, so there were Swedish folk tales to read and a yummy Swedish meal to enjoy. What a wonderful, creative cook we have! Later in the month everyone commemorated Australia Day by eating Beetroot Cake and creating Australian-themed dot art. We were pleased to welcome Jan, who shared her vintage Christmas collection with us, and Emily Butler, Associate Vice President of Partnerships and Strategic Initiatives for the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, who spoke about the restoration work being done at Wright’s estate, Taliesin.
