Meadows ladies help tie quilts for Project Linus group

The month started off with bowling during morning exercise. You’re never too old to try something new to get those muscles moving! A number of the ladies made beautiful wooden angels for our volunteers and tied quilts for Project Linus, an organization dedicated to giving handmade blankets to children in need. Thank you to the Project Linus volunteers for sharing their expertise! Thank you also to Volunteer Deb for bringing in a delicious cake for our fun October birthday party. The month came to a close with a lovely fall drive to Oakwood Fruit Farm to sample cider and apple cider donuts, browse the gift shop and purchase some yummy fall treats! A big thank you to Alan from Oakwood for donating apples to us. That was so thoughtful! To view photos, please click on the web album link below.
