January was COLD, but there were lots of things happening inside to stay warm and busy! Volunteer Kathy came for her monthly Bible study, and we so appreciate her providing this important spiritual connection and support. In their “spare” time, the ladies did some bowling; and since the month of love is right around the corner, there were Valentine projects to work on as well. The ladies made centerpieces for the dining room tables and 55 valentines for veterans with the 4th grade students from St. John the Evangelist School. They’ll get mailed to the WI Department of Veteran Affairs for distribution. They celebrated National Cheese Day with delicious samples paired with Cherry Blush Wine and baked a fabulous chocolate cake for National Chocolate Cake Day.
